Installation
Tiverton Gazebo Replacement Canopy Installation Instructions
Safety First: WARNING!!! This process requires a person to use a ladder to reach the top of the gazebo. It is important that the ladder that you use be stable and safe. It is important that a second person be present in the event you need help. Safety should be your number one priority to prevent falling during installation. If you do not feel comfortable removing or installing the canopy, please seek a professional for help.
Remove Your Old Canopy First
1. Ladder - You will need a stable ladder that will allow you to safely reach the top of the gazebo.
2. Loosen the Canopy – Detach the canopy hooks along each side of the gazebo. The hooks can be located on the underside of the canopy (along the perimeter). Start at any side and work your way around the gazebo.
3. Remove the Center Top Finial - You may have to gather the canopy towards the center of the gazebo roof to make room for you to reach the top of the gazebo. Unscrew the finial ornament at the top center of the roof. Your canopy is ready to be removed.
Installing New Canopy
1. Ladder - You will need a stable ladder that will allow you to safely reach the top of the gazebo.
2. Partially Install the Canopy. Loosely drape the canopy over the roof frame. Make sure the center of the canopy is over the center peak of the frame. The grommet hole at the center of the canopy should fit over the finial bolt at the center top of the frame. The Tiverton canopy is rectangular in shape. Make sure that the correct sides of the canopy line up with the edge of the gazebo.
3. Reattach the Center Top Finial – Screw the top center finial into place.
4. Install the Canopy – Pull the canopy towards the edge of the gazebo. Attach the hooks into the predrilled holes inside the metal valance. Start on one side and work your way around the gazebo.
5. You’re finished! Enjoy your new canopy!!!
