Make your gazebo look NEW again with a custom Garden Winds replacement canopy!

GARDEN WINDS PRODUCT DISCLAIMER - PLEASE READ

There are two known versions of the Target Sun Gazebo.  One version is bigger than the other.  Garden Winds is selling a canopy that fits the smaller version of the Sun Gazebo.  Because the Sun Gazebo is an older model gazebo, Garden Winds will NOT be developing the larger version canopy.  If you have the larger version of the Sun Gazebo, this canopy will come up 2 to 3 inches too short to fit your gazebo.  If you have the smaller version of the Sun Gazebo, this canopy will fit perfectly.

GARDEN WINDS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THIS CANOPY WILL FIT YOUR SUN GAZEBO.  IF THE CANOPY DOES NOT FIT, YOU MAY RETURN IT TO US.  YOU WILL PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING.  IF RETURNED, A REFUND OF THE PRODUCT PRICE WILL BE ISSUED.  SHIPPING IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

Installation

Sun Gazebo Replacement Canopy Installation Instruction

Safety First: WARNING!!! This process requires a person to use a ladder to reach the top of the gazebo. It is important that the ladder that you use be stable and safe. It is important that a second person be present in the event you need help. Safety should be your number one priority to prevent falling during installation. If you do not feel comfortable removing or installing the canopy, please seek a professional for help.

Remove Your Old Canopy First

1. Ladder - You will need a stable ladder that will allow you to safely reach the top of the gazebo.

2. Loosen the Canopy – Unfasten all Velcro straps. Then, remove the roof bars from the corner pockets of the canopy. Start with any corner pocket. Pull the corner of the canopy away from the center of the gazebo. This will allow you remove the end of the metal roof bar from the corner pocket. Repeat this for all four corner pockets of the bottom tier canopy. Next, remove the ends of the roof bars from the four side pockets. The side pockets are located midway between any two corner pockets. By now, the side pockets should easily pull away from the metal roof bars. Unfasten all Velcro straps. Velcro straps are usually located on the seams of the canopy. Now you can remove your canopy.

Installing New Canopy

1. Ladder - You will need a stable ladder that will allow you to safely reach the top of the gazebo.

2. Partially Install Bottom the Canopy – Loosely rest the canopy on the roof frame. As much as possible, unfold and spread the canopy evenly over all roof bars. Begin by pulling the corners of the canopy towards the corners of the gazebo frame. Fasten the bottom tier tightly to the frame by inserting the ends of the corner roof bars into the corner pockets. Do this for all four corner pockets. You will need to pull harder on the last corner pocket, as there is less slack available. Next, insert the end tips of the side roof bars into the side pockets. The side pockets are located midway between any two corner pockets. Do this for all four side pockets. Then fasten available Velcro straps to the roof bars.

5. You’re finished! Enjoy your new canopy!!!

Since it is winter in Denver I won't be installing the gazebo cover soon, but the last one worked well until a freak wind burst ripped it. Service was excellent despite a billing glitch that was attended to immediately.

As suspected, we have the larger of the canopy frames. It took a little elbow grease to shorten the ends, but the canopy fits well now. Haven't been tested by wind or rain yet, so we'll just have to wait and see. But the original canopy held up well and we expect no less from this one.

It was a bit too small, about 2 inches at the last corner. I left it on overnight hoping that it would "relax" a bit but is actually got tighter. I had to remove 2 inches of the corner strut with a hack saw. It looks good however. I am uncertain why there are grommets on it. That said, this gazebo is great and has been on our deck for almost 8 years. This is our third top.
