Garden Winds recommends this grommet ring kit to customers purchasing a replacement canopy. You DO NOT NEED OUR GROMMET KIT to use our replacement canopies.  Our canopies are ready to use out of the box. 

However, we offer a grommet kit for convenience to certain customers.  Grommet rings provide several added benefits. First, additional grommet rings are perfect for those who live in high wind and high rain areas. Wind and rain water collection accelerates the wear of the canopy. Additional grommet rings will decrease this wear by increasing ventilation and drainage. Second, additional grommet rings can help you customize the fit of our canopy to your gazebo. Place these rings where you believe an extra velcro or tie-down can be used. A better fit will reduce the "sailing" effect of winds on your replacement canopy, therefore extending the life of the canopy even more.  Third, certain manufacturers' gazebo canopies have grommet holes on the four corners and the top to allow decorative ornaments to be screwed into the gazebo frame.  Because our canopies do not have such customized grommet holes, those customers that need grommet holes for their ornaments will find this grommet kit convenient.  

This grommet kit is user friendly. You need only a household hammer and a pair of scissors to create grommet rings for your replacement canopy.
